Vice Principle of Royal Holloway Visited School of General Engineering
Professor Paul Hogg, Vice Principle of Royal Holloway, University of London, visited School of General Engineering and met Professor Xiaoqian SUN, vice dean of SGE, on 13th of September.
Mr.Hogg gave a basic picture of Royal Holloway and University of London and won Prof. SUN’s welcome. The vice dean then gave a general introduction to SGE program and its curriculum which led to the next topic of Prof. Hogg’s possible lectures to SGE undergraduates in the coming semester.
Foundedin 1886 and seated at the suburban area of London, Royal Holloway joined University of London in 1900, growing up to be a prestigious public university in UK. Ranking the 259 on 2018 QS list, the university is famous for its Informational Security courses.
Prof.Hogg, the then Professor of Materials Engineering of Queen Mary and Head of School of Materials, University of Manchester, is an expert in science of materials and has rich experience in teaching, research as well as administration in higher education.
