Liberal Arts Lecture &“Yuanhang” Consultation on Studying Abroad 2017-11-10

On November 9, 2017, a Liberal Arts Lecture & “Yuanhang Plan”-- Consultation on Studying Abroad was held in Room D1120, New Main Building. The keynote speaker of this report was Lv Ying, Deputy Division Chief of the Office of International Division and Growth Mentor of SGE. Ms. Zhao Haiyun, Vice Dean of SGE, Zhao Qiudi, teacher of SGE, Yu Ying, Counsellor of SGE and all the students of SGE attended this meeting.


Ms. Lv Ying introduced the "Yuanhang Plan" to students and shared some overseas experiences of outstanding students from Beihang University. The "Yuanhang Plan" is jointly developed with world-renowned universities to provide diversified choices for students to enhance their international competitiveness and enable them to develop in an all-round way in academic literacy, global perspectives, personal and international capabilities and demonstrate Chinese splendor. During the meeting, students asked questions enthusiastically. Ms. Lu Ying not only answered these questions one by one with patience, but also put forward the expectations and requirements of international development.


This consultation on studying abroad broadened students' international perspectives so that they can get a better look at the internationalization of education conducted by Beihang University in recent years on the road to establishing a world-class university. It enhanced the international capabilities of students of SGE and laid a good foundation for them to study abroad in future. By participating in this liberal arts class, students have set clear goals and plans for future study and studying abroad. This is an important step for SGE in building an international environment and atmosphere.
