On the morning of November 23, 2017, Prof. José M. Páez, Vice President of Foreign Affairs at Tecnológico de Monterrey, visited School of General Engineering at Beihang University. Lv Ying, Deputy Director of International Division, Prof. Rinie Adrianus Dejan Akkermans, Prof. Willem Johannis Eerland and Ms. Zhao Qiudi from SGE attended the meeting hosted by Ms. Zhao Haiyun, Vice Dean of SGE.
Ms. Zhao first expressed our warm welcome to Prof. José M. Páez for the visit and made a detailed introduction to development concepts, specialties, course framework and international admission and recruitment. She said Beihang University and Tecnológico de Monterrey are complementary to each other in inter-discipline, education philosophy of innovation and other aspects, because both universities are taking an active role in pushing forward running an international demonstration school. These two universities can have a wide cooperation in teacher exchange, student exchange and inter-school cooperation. She hopes that the two sides can carry out closer cooperation in the future, starting from this visit.
Prof. José M. Páez thought highly of our way of running school. He introduced Tecnológico de Monterrey. These two parties had a comprehensive exchange and discussion on the hot issues of school-running. At last, they visited activity field of student and offices of international teacher.
